These are the best headphones I’ve ever seen or had the pleasure of wearing. I bought them for my son for Christmas, and three months later they are still a joy. He is ten and loves their cool looks, while I like them for their comfort, which is superb. They require a battery, but after all this time I haven’t needed to replace it and my son uses the headphones regularly and extensively for gaming. They cut out a huge amount of ambient noise, so they’d be great on an aircraft, though if you need to hear what’s going on around you that could be a problem. I can’t recommend them highly enough and have a pair for me on my birthday list, though in a different colour.

I bought a set of these back in january and what a pair of headphones! superb quality and the bass is imence! but recentally when i put the subs into full swing they have started to buzz n’ crackle, dont know if its from having the bass right up for too long or if they have had a knock thats losend something inside, trying to claim off the warrenty atm, but i would still recomend them and will deffinatly be getting another set!

My only real problem with these headphones is the huge battery pack for the Bass Vibration, it’s about the size of a cheap MP3 player and has been placed in the middle of the wires. Which means it swings around and feels clumsy when wearing them outside. Apart from that, the sound quality is pretty decent with the Bass turned on, but not so good with it turned off (with the bass turned off these don’t sound any better than my £10 in-ear headphones). If you notice the sound crackles with the bass turned on, then try a new battery, this worked for me. I like the free replacement lifetime warranty (for natural wear and tear) that comes with these and should you break them by another means, like throwing them into a wall or dropping them down the loo, then they’ll replace them with 50% off the original price. I used these to watch a movie on my laptop and with all the candy turned on (so to speak) it really did sound like I was in the action, the bass vibration is the only feature that gives these headphones any real credit. As a final note I should also mention that they do block out external noise pretty well, I can’t hear myself singing with them on, thankfully!

Have tried many many pairs of headphones. I like my bass. I like my music loud… These are perfect – i honestly think that there is no better set of headphones available (if you like your ears battered with sound.) The idea is simple but brilliant: headphones can’t carry the sound you need because they are powered via a small 3.5mm connection that has to transmit sound – lets overcome this by putting an actual battery powered bass amp in them! It’s like being in a car with a huge sound system, but you don’t have to drive round country roads to appreciate the tunes without pissing people off. If you like the experience of music then buy these. I do not regret it in the slightest; I look forward to coming home, putting them on, turning the volume up, and ramming the vibration control to its stops. Enjoy.

I’ve had my crushers for almost a year now. I don’t use them daily unlike my skullcandy smokin’ buds (which i would highly recomment) but their much more of a mood thing.

The sound quality and build quality isn’t bad to be honest, their quite sturdy and you also get a neat carry sack with them to keep them from harm. At first I thought the whiteness of them would make me uncomfotable when walking around but their not that bad and since their 10 pound cheaper than the green/grey ones they really are a great deal!

The sound is hard to put… when listening to music without the vibrating bass they aren’t amazing. Theres a lot of treble, but thats probly to compensate for when the bass is on, I can’t say I ever use them without a little base? But, with the bass on their very different, the vibrations tend to respond more to louder equalised bass or deep bass. There is a wheel so you can disside how much bass/vibration you want to it doesn’t over-ride the rest of the music. It’s really great for, rock, drum and bass, dance and… dmx (haha!) but not for chilled out stuff or jazz… especially not bright eyes… urm… so yes! If you like bass and loud music you’ll like them but if you like your death cab for cutie; stay away…

to round up, good if you like fast angry bass filled music. bad if you like chilled out stuff. battery life on the bass is very good and when it needs changing you’ll know (sound goes very oily). build qualitys good, and money wise their not bad too!

(this was my first review… could you tell)

enjoy if you disside to buy! they will melt your brain :)
