I bought this tv as a replacement for my old KDL32V2000 which stopped working despite only being 3.5years old. The features that come with this tv are outstanding as is the quality of the pictures and sound.

Living in a house with a sky dish but no sky subscription i chanced my luck and plugged in the sky cable and it worked so now i have freesat as well as freeview. If you do use your sky and want to get freesat I think you may have to get an engineer to adjust your dish. The tv straight out of the box was easy to setup with only the base needing attachment. It is sturdy and looks great.

My only real issue i have with this tv is the digital button on the remote. Pressing this switches between digital terrestrial and freesat. The only way you can tell which one you are on is the small (i mean tiny) square with the d or s in the top left corner. Not a big thing but i feel they could have done this a little better. You could of course use the xmb to flick. The xmb should be familiar to those with a ps3 *bravia sync works with the new models too*

I had a little play around with the network connectivity of the tv but i have to say i havent had enough of a play with it.

Summary – great tv, great price and when i got it they were giving away a free blueray player.

Got this as a replacement for my old CRT Sony.

The colour picture quality is the best among all brands and the Samsung comes a close second.

The TV features including power save modes and freesat are well designed. Lovely design of the product itself. Very good theatre sound system built in.

Worth the premium prices paid for product.

Spent many hours looking at reviews and finally decided on the sony 5810 and I made the right choice.

This tv replaces a 10 year old JVC, the difference in picture and sound was amazing.

Lots of options for picture and sound settings, first time use of HDMI for DVD and again excellent picture and sound.

Have bought Sony in the past with mixed results but this product is excellent.

Bought via Amazon warehouse, second purchase from the warehouse and so far 100% satisfaction. Each time damaged box/packaging resulted in big discounts and both deliverd within 2 days.
