I did quite a lot of research into home cinema systems and specifically needed a wireless setup because my landlord doesn’t allow any ‘holes in the walls’. The Sony system was the one I choose due to a few factors but primarily: 1. Wireless capability 2. Look 3. Great reviews on the internet. I ordered this on the Friday and it was delivered on the Tuesday. Great considering the fact that I used super saver delivery. I had it delivered to my office warehouse. I must say that when i got it I wasn’t expecting the box to be so HUGE! It was a mission to get it into the car and then upto my second floor flat by myself. Note to the wise: Get someone to help you carry it! The instructions were very straightforward and setting it up was a breeze. I bought the product thinking that the two standup speakers were for the back but actually they are for the front. That kind of threw me off since the whole idea was to get wireless speakers so I wouldn’t have to drill the wall. I went over to argos and bought some cheap speaker stands and that solved the problem. Overall the speaker system is great and is easy to setup. The sound is amazing and I love the ipod connector dock…although it only charges the battery for ipods and not the iphone (nothing too serious!) I feel that it was worth the money and I’ll keep it for a long time to come! Worth getting the following with cables with the speaker: power extension strip (for the back wireless speakers), HDMI cable, SCART cable and an optical audio cable (if you want to connect your SKY Box to the system).

This is an excellent system. Easy and clear set up instructions. Only negative points were length of speaker wire and not being able to connect it to PS3 without having to purchase 3 optical cables . I set this up in my living room which is 12ft x 12ft but the front speaker wire was way too short so had to get wires extended. Wouldnt work through ps3 despited having full hd 1080p television. Apart from these initial problems it is a fantastic system and would definately recommend it.

Item arrived well before I expected it. I placed an order on Saturday and Received a package on Tuesday. Excellent delivery and item description was accurate. Item was sealed by manufacturer, no extra tapes. Would highly recommend this seller. AAA++++. In regards to the system itself: best Sony home cinema, has optical and coax input. Bravia sync, USB input, dock for Ipod controlled via system remote!!!! Very handy. DAVDZ680W.CEK and DAVDZ680W are the same items. Don’t over pay for DAVDZ680W thinking if there are any difference!!!! Rear speakers are attached to not that big size receiver and are wired to that. Rear receiver has to be plugged to mains.
Will highly recommend this unit from Edgware HiFi Centre!!!! don’t think, this is the best Sony home cinema below 500

This is a great cinema system. The reason I chose this one is because I can connect it to my ps3 which not many Sony ones can do which seems pretty stupid. I had originally ordered from digital direct but it was going to take 2 months to arrive, so I cancelled my order and bought this one and it arrived in a few days. The only reason it gets 4 not 5 stars is that the batteries for the remote which were supposed to be included were not in the box.
