This was the my first purchase from AMAZON. It arrived 2 days after ordering. It worked straight from the Box. Slight bother getting Menu to appear at first but putting a disk in the machine, then all was revealed. Brilliant Video HD slide shows were amazing even Old Photo Files were Processed in under a second. I had been fortunate in getting the PBS ” Ken Burns’s National Park” DVD for my Birthday (lasting over 15 Hours) And these American Disks Played with no problem. Recording on dvd disks from the Sky HD Recorded programmes facility on to a DVD Recorder on extended play gives me 4 hours of HD Quality Playbacks on this Sony Player. The Added HDMI Panasonic Lead Makes this Whole Package Amazing. Highly Recommended.

I wanted a multi region dvd player that was easy to install and use. This one ticks all yhe boxes. I amm 81 and was able to install this myself. then just swich on iinsert the dvd and it plays with no adjustment for different regions. You need to touch a bar on the top to open the disc holder.very pleased with it.

After buying a returning a Pheonix Multi-Region player I am very happy with my Sony dvd player. I’ve had no issues with it and so far it has been able to play all discs, whether they be multi-region or even slightly marked or scratched, which my previous DVD player wasn’t able to do. It’s well worth the investment. I should also say it doesn’t feel flimsy like other players can sometimes, which is a welcomed change.

Slim, lightweight, glossy, black DVD player. My region 1 and 3 DVD discs played smoothly.Included HDMI lead a perfect combination for the package deal, upscaling my old DVDs to HD quality. The remote is multi-functional and can be used to control the TV,even for non-Sony brands.Plenty of menu for recorded DVDs in different format although,I am yet to try them.Overall, this player is good value for money.

Having recently purchased a Sony Bravia TV I decided to update my DVD player and didn’t know where to begin. I looked at some Blu ray’s to take advantage of the HD option but finally settled on this model as it promised HDMI 1080p upscale. Sony also supply the HDMI cord so you don’t need to purchase one separately.

All I can tell you is that my jaw dropped when I put Francesco Da Mosto’s “Venice” into the player. The picture is so crisp and clear now I could have sworn I was actually there. Next came some footage from my camcorder and then some photographs, all crystal clear.

The delivery from Amazon was super fast as always, and the price of this player is small when you consider what it delivers. Installation was quick and easy, and I would recommend this player with a deserved 5 stars.
