This product is really worth for money. The sound quality is amazing. Though there is no equalizer on the speaker, but honestly you would not require them. THis speaker has got amazing balance b/w it’s bass and treble.

The bluetooth streaming is really flawless. It worked with my laptop, mobile and i-pod as well. I was having an doubt to have them working with my Nokia 6300 mobile set. They worked best with them. Even the covering range was beyond 10 mtrs when paired with nokia cell.

Why 4 stars????

1. I wanted to buy all time carrying speakers, but these speakers r little big than what I assumed them to be.

2. The only way of playing a sound through these speaker, is bluetooth. There is an analogue input jack but no cord. You have to buy a separate cord for the wired connection of these speakers with your lappi. I don’t have any idea where can I find them.

3. Initially I had to struggle a lot to set up them with my mobile and lappi. This could be because I was new to this new era of technology.

But at the end…Full Marks to Sony….Welcome to Bluetooth world.

Product specification would roughly be…

1. Size in inches

Len*bred*Heig = 12*4*6

2. Weight in Kgs

Around 2.

3. Accessory provided is one 12V AC/DC adapter of around 200 Gms of weight.

4. Switch on/off, Volume control, and Bluetooth pairing switches are at the top of the speakers.

This product is brilliant, took me about five minutes to plug it in and attach my ipod phone tv and laptop, plug and play is so good. The sound is great and there is no evidence that it is not hardwired. so versitile, and it is possible to connect it via wiring but lets face it everything is bluetooth now. It even connects to mt tv which is blutooth.

Recomended, discontinued though so hurry up. Wish it had a remote that would be great.

Really great sound easy to use I have 3 blue tooth devices connected to it and have had no problems setting it up. Came out of the box and connected to Ipod and worked straight away. Another great product from Sony well worth the money it cost.

I love the idea behind this – lounge out on my settee, thumb through the albums on my ipod and beam them to the speaker. The ipod acts like a remote with the ability to change specific tracks etc.

BUT – the ipod doesn’t control the volume level of the speaker – this can ONLY be done by using the buttons on its top – there is no separate remote.

But its biggest down fall is the pitifully low maximum volume – hopeless for me I’m afraid. Has to be turned up max (with accompanying distortion) to fill a medium sized room. Think twice – and preferably listen to one – before buying.

This speaker has been an excellent purchase, connectivity without the dongle to a number of devices was easy and instant. Worked instantly with Macbook, Laptop, iPhone, Blackberry even iPad without the need for the dongle. Sonically you’re not going to get audiophile quality but it beats the internal speakers on all the above devices. Recommended!
