Bought a freview box but after discovering that it wouldn’t run from my tv-top extendable aerial I looked to the web to find an indoor aerial with an amplifier so that I could watch freeview.

After reading many reviews of much more expensive units I came across and bought this aerial, and it’s great! I could only get 3 grainy channels normal TV before, and with the aerial I could only get better reception but not perfect (maybe if I’d played around with tuning I could have). But with my freeview box I can now get freeview in perfect picture, it’s great! Simple to set up too, just screw in the aerials if they are needed, plug into mains & tv and switch on.

One thing I have noticed though is that when I’m on my mobile phone the picture sometimes freezes while I’m watching TV but this isn’t really an issue.

A great little aerial for a very reasonable price, would definitely recommend!

I have just bought one of these to watch freeview upstairs in our house. The previous aerial I used was a One For All SV 9150 which cost about £25 and also had a built in amplifier. However, based on the other review I thought this cheaper version was worth a go. With my old aerial I was able to pick up about half the channels but with this one I get them all. The reception is not perfect but it is certainly much better than it was. I would definitely recommend this aerial, sometimes cheaper is best!

Felt I should write a review, as I felt that it was a bit of a risk buying one of the cheapest models just on the strength of its reviews.

When I initially hooked it up to an analogue TV, it was pretty disappointing. However, I’d bought it to pick up freeview for my new BT Vision Box, and the reception is great! Get all the main channels (it picked up around 55ish I think) and the quality is great.

So I’d say it’s worth trying this out, and not forking out the extra cash for some of the more expensive models.

I am in a weak freeview area and could only pick up 2 digital channels using my external aerial (which is not a digital one). Using this indoor aerial I can now receive a dozen or more freeview channels on TV upstairs. The performance of this aerial is very good for the price, and I am very pleased with it.

I was bit disappointed by this product. Aerial didn’t work at my place so I tried at friend’s place it didn’t work there either.

I may be just unlucky at my place but I had same result at both places.

I won’t recommend this product.
