Product Description
Identify a spare scart socket on your television and push the adaptor fully into it. Connect the remote extender to the adaptor and locate it at the front or side of your tv, it has a sticky pad. This allows the remote control to operate the Freeview adaptor even though it is behind your television. Connect your aerial cable to the aerial socket on the adaptor. Finally plug in the mains power supply and connect the DC lead to the power socket on the adaptor. Select the appropriate AV mode of your television and use the remote control to set up the Freeview adaptor and do a service scan.
** Also use this adaptor to convert a VCR or DVD recorder to receive and record Freeview channels.
**There is 3.5mm stereo jack socket for audio output. This means you can feed the audio signal from the adaptor to your existing amplifier if you have a TV without speakers or a home cinema system. This feature is not included on any other Freeview boxes of this type on the market.
