This is a great product, well constructed and does exactly what it says on the tin. Ideal if you have a USB powered device to charge (e.g. a mobile phone/PDA) but you also want to charge one or more things from the standard cigarette lighter (e.g. your Sat Nav). It allows you to do that with absolutely no fuss. I was also pleased with the seller – the product arrived quickly and was well-packaged.

Charger adapter arrived quickly, was good value and suitably robust to do the job. Flex length is good and the cigarette insert does not stick out too far and interfere with the gear lever etc

… an excellent little device. Using it has meant that I can play my iPod and use the SatNav at the same time with room to spare. I’ve yet to test out the USB port to charge my iPod battery yet. But I’m in no doubt that it’ll be of the same reliability and usefulness as the rest of this product.

When travelling with the kids, the fridge, the satnav etc all running, we used to have to alternate plugging things in to our twin sockets (one in the front and one in the rear).

I looked at quite a few of these gizmos online and this one seemed to get the best ratings.

Having tried it with various things plugged in, I have to say I am impressed.

The cable is average length – probably enough to get from the lighter plug to level with the back of the front seats. This is a hub, so ought to reach to the middle of the serviced area. It does, so I cannot complain.

There is a self adhesive mount if you really wanted to, but I am not sure I would want it on show all the time due to security issues.

What really pleased me was the unit didn’t seem to heat up too much in use, and the construction of the unit is pretty solid.

Good value for money and the supplier delivery was snappy. Other online offerings had poorer reviews and were more expensive.

Prompt delivery from Tecknet and well packaged. I wish I had bought this one first – the best feature is the connecting lead – many multiway adapters simply don’t fit due to being bulky right where you need to plug in. The lead on this one means you can connect securely and then route the power to where you need it. Includes that ever-so-handy USB connector too.
