I really needed a multi region DVD after my last one conked out, I have a lot of DVD’s from other countries. Looked around a lot but nothing came up besides multi regions online. This Toshiba is brilliant. Great price, nice little DVD player, easy to use, looks good, plays perfectly. Absolutely no problems. Would recommend to anyone, nice little find.

My old multi-region DVD player packed up, and for some time it was being very selective playing my own family holiday movies on DVD R/RW etc. Prompted by the other two reviews on this page, I went for this – and it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made from Amazon.
Unlike one of the other reviewers here, I was disappointed when mine did not work as a multi-region player “straight from the box.” I put in a region 1 disk, and an on-screen message told me “wrong region”. So I entered a code I found in reviews for the same model for other sellers, and immediately got an on-screen message saying region changed to region 0 – and it now plays all my multi region discs perfectly.
And the added bonus is that all my home-made DVD’s play perfectly too. In fact, it plays absolutely everything I’ve thrown at it.
The remote is small but functional – I like it.
The player is slim, small, very light; I connected it to my system within seconds of taking it out of the box, and just a few seconds later resolved my “multi-region” issue.
