If you are planning to use this dvd player for use with dvd discs burned from a p.c then i would not recommend, As i constantly had unsupported file type in dvd root menu on player, Very frustrating, as i wasted approx 15-20 dvd+r’s by trying different burn methods, but still this player refused to recognise img & iso file type!……..only had product for 1 week, probably was a defective dvd player, but i will not buy another toshiba.

I was extremely pleased with both the price and performance of this product. It replaced an aging Proline DVD player. The difference in picture quality was obvious from day 1. The only problem I had was controlling the fast forward speed. At 30x, something I hadn’t encountered before, I had to be “quick on the trigger”, otherwise it overran a fair bit. I blame the operator not the product. I haven’t fully explored the USB port feature yet, but it displays photgraphs extremely well.

For a simple easy to use DVD Player, I would recommend it.

Bought this on the recommendation of other reviews and was told it was multi-region. The 1st one came and clearly wasn’t multi-region – rang the very helpful Toshiba helpline who said yes it’s multi-region, it must be faulty. Sent that back, got another, obviously not lulti-region – Toshiba tells me no it is not multi-region. So not impressed with Toshiba. No stars from me.
