My faithful original Bayliss radios have been through a lot. Left out in frosts, dropped in water butts and even flung after hearing James Blunt on the radio. They were in a sorry state. I looked around Amazon to see what other windup/solar/chargeable were availible and was worried to see that although some cheaper alternatives came with glowing reviews, they nonetheless had at least one person who had a bad experience with them.

I spent the extra money and went with a Bayliss again. Light, loud, excellent tuning and full of great features. You can now charge your mobile with one and houses the cable in a little compartment. A torch with red and white LED is included too and unlike the old bulky Bayliss radio, this will genuinely fit in a pocket and make a good companion for some head phones.

5 star aint enough.

A truly pocket sized radio. I get great reception when working in the garden. It’s left in the greenouse most of the time so I haven’t had to use the handle – the photo electric cell seems to keep it fully charged. One of by better buys- recommend it to anyone

I must admit I was astonished by the great sound quality of this little radio – we bought it for holidays really, but it quickly ended up being used in the house.
