This carry bag is ideal for a 17″ laptop. Plenty of room for laptop in bag and well padded. Convenient outside pocket for storage of electrical cable ect and smaller pockets inside for smaller items. Recommend this for those wanting a case that will fit a 17″ laptop.

After continued attempts to find a case for my 17.3″ Packard Bell laptop I found this product and must say its perfect. Not only does it fit with room, it also costs a lot less than buying from a high-street retailer and the delivery is great, quick and arrives in perfect conditions. I would recommend this just to try as it is great value for money.

Cheap and cheerful, but it does the job and and has a useful benefit for non-17″ users. I’m using this for a Toshiba Satellite A10 which dates from the ‘desktop replacement’ phase, so the thing’s barely portable anyway and while it doesn’t have a 17″ screen it’s uncommonly large from front to back. However, this case is big enough to let you fit your laptop in sideways – even this one – and still anchor it with the internal strap, leaving a space down the side which will happily accommodate the power supply, mains lead, mouse, cleaning cloth and brush, USB hub or other accessories. This leaves you with the outside pocket free for documents etc. instead of having to stuff the PSU (with its sticky-out 13A plug) and other gubbins into it. The result is not only low-profile but could allow you to avoid carting both laptop and briefcase around, which is good. Recommended.

Smart looking bag but with strength issues. It would not have added greatly to the cost to improve protection. I put in some corrugated card in a U shape to strengthen the girth because it felt like my laptop was trying to tunnel its way out and that solved that. The pouches are more than adequate in size for power supply and accessories but once again strength is an issue, especially between the various sections. I’m sure that an increase in the strength of the case would add less than 10% to the weight and price and you would have a case as good as the market leaders at half their inflated prices. This would then be a 5 star item.
