DON”T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY…! Like the customer above, I was charged £22.50 for postage on 5 travel adaptor plugs, they are suggesting I return the goods, but that is not the point I was unknowingly charged an excessive amount of postage on items that cost £2.50. I only find out because i was going to order some more adaptors and saw the feedback and then checked my invoice…!

I was very disappointed that the product that arrived was not as shown on the picture. In the picture, the underside has a hole for the grounding pin to go in; however, the ones which I received do not. The majority of French sockets have this pin (as in the case of the flat I’m moving to) so I will be unable to use 4 of the 5 that I ordered. The 5th on actually has the needed hole, is a different shape from the rest, and is a bit grubby (used?) but I’m happy to have at least one that’ll work!

Allcam have generously offered to refund £17 from my original £27 delivery charge (I ordered 6 adaptors at 27p each), for the small act of removing my prior comments. Is that bribery? I think so.

Wanted to buy 4 of these. Obviously 1p each seemed a bargain. However, the delivery charge (standard) was going to be £18!! What a rip off.

The service was efficient and the delivery prompt, unfortunately there is no “standard” EU socket and the ones supplied do not work in France, no hole for ground pin !
