“excellent backpack, felt very comfortable compared the other backpacks I have used. My Dell Inspiron fitted perfectly into the main laptop compartments and feels pretty secure. Too many additional storage compartments to mention, including an MP3 pocket and a hole for the headphones. This is the 2nd Swissgear bag I have purchased and have been very impressed by both, would recommend 10/10, and quick delivery from Amazon.

Really pleased with this. Even when fully loaded with laptop, PSU and the like plus several folders, and other documents, it still doesn’t feel heavy on the shoulder.

I use it as my main work carry-all, and then when travelling abroad on business, for files and change of clothes.

Looks cool and gets noticed.

As a student I have to take with me loads of folders, a iBook, different small notebooks, my lunch for the day, mobile phone, rain gear and a torch for walking home at night….and more. Wenger Swissgear is a fantastic well thought out Rucksack, with many compartments….a pleasure to have it.

I used to have for 5 years a backpack from JanSport, which I had paid for 140 euros back then. That was perfect, but it was time to change it, so I bought this one (46 euros at the time of writing). It is a very good backpack with regards to its quality, I can see I’ll have it for many years too (and I’m not polite with my backpacks). There’s lots of space, which was a requirement, and the protection for the laptop is excellent. That said, I do have two regrets:

1) There are very few small, clever pockets. I was used to having a multitude of them to organize my small stuff, especially when traveling for 1-2 days and would take no other luggage. And,

2) the biggest problem for me, its straps are thinner than I’m used to, so it feels much heavier than my old one. Again, having test-drived a number of backpacks in local stores, this one is better than average in that regard. But, if you’re going to fill it up, be ready for some serious strain on your shoulders. I have ended up deciding that it’s impossible to get a backpack with really good, thick, convenient straps, unless you pay well more than 100 euros.

As usual Amazon has delievered on quality products and service. I bought this yesterday, had it delivered today and it’s already being used at full capacity. Just great quality. This is my thirs swissgear bag I purchase through Amazon. One of them just broke after some heavy (and I mean HEAVY) daily use for the past 3 years or so every single day of the week for papers and laptop, hence bought this one to replace it. I would buy swissgear bags time and time and time again no doubt at all.
