The USB cable to link my walkman to the USB port in my car works well. The area it is better than other similar products is that despite being in the car all the time and being exposed to all the temperatures from freezing to mid 20’s it works well. Previous cables have become hard and brittle

Same item cost £15 at Sony and Currys wanted £24!!!

I am always dubious about buying cables that are much cheaper than the originals or manufacturer supplied items. In this case it was a good gamble. The cable works perfectly in every way. The ends are well supported, so I have few worries that the soldering will break any time soon.
If you are after a replacement cable and don’t want to pay for the real thing, this is a very good alternative.
