The suction cup on the base that attaches to the windscreen creates a powerful vacuum so there can be no movement. This is firmly kept in place by the clasp at the bottom. The clasp is held in placeby a ratchet and can only be released by a button.
The holder has a cradle with high density foam cushioned jaws that grip your device securely where it can be conveniently viewed and operated. The high density foam is profiled so as to fit around device to provide not only the best security available but further insulation from vibration caused by bumpy roads. The jaws are spring loaded (patented) and easily adjusted at a press of a button to fit phones of all sizes.
In Portrait mode, the unit can expand from 35mm right up to 105mm in width and limitless height. When spun around into landscape mode, it can expand to 105mm in height and limitless width.

Bought from THT trading, this product does not contain an ‘air vent connector’. the package contains 2 pieces. 1. Holder (also for iphone 4, can be used universally) 2. Windscreen Suction mount. I am satisfied with the product. Suction works well. And iphone 4 stays in the holder. I won’t give it 5 stars because there is no ‘air vent connector’. But the holder works well (for the price paid). I live in the Netherlands, and product arrived fast and in good condition.

Great Holder! Well worth the money! Should be priced a lot higher. Needed a phone holder for my HTC Hero because I was planning on using the SAT NAV on the phone. The holder played its purpose very well. Couldn’t ask or want more. Very secure holder, no chance of the phone falling off… and no chance of the holder coming off the window. There’s nice slots in the bottom of the holder too, which makes charging very good. Recommended.
