The suction cup on the base that attaches to the windscreen creates a powerful vacuum so there can be no movement. This is firmly kept in place by the clasp at the bottom. The clasp is held in placeby a ratchet and can only be released by a button.
The holder has a cradle with high density foam cushioned jaws that grip your device securely where it can be conveniently viewed and operated. The high density foam is profiled so as to fit around device to provide not only the best security available but further insulation from vibration caused by bumpy roads. The jaws are spring loaded (patented) and easily adjusted at a press of a button to fit phones of all sizes.
In Portrait mode, the unit can expand from 35mm right up to 105mm in width and limitless height. When spun around into landscape mode, it can expand to 105mm in height and limitless width.
This versatility sets it apart from other cheap imitation models. It can fit virtually all mobile phones, iPods & iPhone, GPS devices, PDAs, SatNavs, PSPs, MP3/MP4 players and the like.
