The filters can be used to prevent strong overexposure even when using a slow shutter speed. It’s perfect for shooting in heavily-lit settings or for extended exposures. For example, when you use a slow shutter speed to capture a bright moving object, such as a waterfall, this filter is your best choice. Petal lens hood for all 58mm lens threads. When used it does not allow for a lens cap to be fitted, lens hood will need to be removed to fit lens cap.
This lens hood screws into the front of your lens or filter as a very good alternative to an expensive original hood.
