Omni Massage Roller

Posted by Notcot on Sep 17, 2012 in Gadgets
Omni Massage Roller

You’ve probably noticed that the shops are stuffed with a panoply of massage rollers. There are wooden ones in the shapes of crocodiles plastic ones that look like dolphins on steroids and metal ones that appear to have once belonged to a dentist. All of them kind of work but most of the work is being done by the poor sod giving the massage. Well that’s all over. The Omni Massage Roller is an utter joy to use and simply heaven on aching muscles. Its unique design makes it the most flexible rolling massager we’ve ever seen. The smooth rolling ball is effective through clothes as well as directly onto the skin so you don’t have to strip off at the office when you’re in need of some instant stress relief. And joy of joy – it’s water-proof so now you can leap into the bath (or Jacuzzi/hot tub if you’re very lucky) and massage away. You can use it as it is or with creams and massage oil and with no internal parts it won’t wear out or jam (unlike so many others). Even a completely inept massager can give a great massage with this gizmo so there are no more excuses! Oh and you just HAVE to try this on the soles of your feet it’s awesome. Features: Omni Massage Roller. Omni-directional movement. Provides a stimulating deep tissue massage. Easy to grip handle. The Omni Roller has been tested and approved by Chiropractors Massage Therapists Physical Therapists and Sports Trainers nationwide. Marbled ball white plastic holder massage roller Colours may vary Size: 7 x 7 x 6cm

Bicygnals

Posted by Notcot on Aug 19, 2012 in Gadgets
Bicygnals

Bicygnals you may be forgiven for thinking this is about listening to Lisa Minnelli show tunes in an A&F T shirt but you’d be wrong. They are in fact the cleverest thing to be invented for a bicycle since oh I don’t know handlebars? The reason bicycles have handlebars is because not unsurprisingly you kind of need your hands to steer (which on the whole has nothing to do with American cattle) and handlebars do a pretty good job of it. This is all very logical and seems to have caught on which is good but there is a flaw. When you need to turn left or right you need to let people know which means lifting one hand off your steering wheel (so to speak) and halving your control. Added to this lack of control is the fact that on a busy road with those horrid car things zooming about the only thing to let them know what you’re doing is one frail arm flapping about which at 30mph on a rainy night is more or less invisible to an alert car driver let alone a tired one. Solution indicators! It’s been tried before but the Heath Robinson inventions of the past have been rubbish whereas Bicygnals harness the joy of wireless technology and the coolth (?) of contemporary design. They clip on and off your bike with ease and even clip together and have a carry pouch for when you’re not biked up. A simple flick of your thumb gets both the front and rear signals winking away without a single wire between them. Brilliant concept glorious design simple clean efficient and really rather clever. Keep your hands where you need them and be seen. Features: Wireless indicators and lights for your bike. Lights are detachable and magnetic slotting together into a compact carry case when not in use. Super-bright LED indicator lights at front and rear. Front switches control rear indicators wirelessly. Rear indicators are curved for side visibility. Integrated front and rear reflectors and LED rear and headlights. An option to have the rear and headlight on full beam or a flashing mode. Low battery indicator. Ergonomic and adjustable front and rear clamps. Complies with Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations. Requires 4 x AA Batteries (included) and 4 x AAA Batteries (included). Size: 32 x 9 x 3cm (in bag).

Aurora Mood Clock

Posted by Notcot on May 10, 2012 in Gadgets
Aurora Mood Clock

The Aurora Mood Clock works its way through no fewer than TWELVE colours as it phases through the spectrum. If you’re prone to seeing only shades of grey first thing in the morning imagine the joy of waking up to this gorgeously moody little clock which cycles through the different colours quietly changing on each hour to remind you that time waits for no-one. If you use it as a bedside alarm clock you can switch off the rainbow effects while you sleep. All it takes is a gentle tap on the clock’s tactile rubbery top to light it up for about 30 seconds so that you can see the time without knocking your glass of water or book off the bedside table.

Panasonic DMCLX3 Digital Camera – Black 3.0 inch LCD

Posted by Notcot on Apr 24, 2010 in Photography

Average Rating: 5.0 / 5 (36 Reviews)

Product Description
A Pleasure to Own, a Joy to Use Designed for easy, creative shooting, and high-performance in low-light conditions, the DMC-LX3 features a F2.0 24mm LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens, 10.1 mega pixels and an ultra-sensitive 1/1.63-inch CCD developed specifically for this model.  By combining a high-quality lens and sensor ready for a variety of shooting conditions with a wide-range of accessories and manual controls, the DMC-LX3 is ideal for professional photographers and serious amateurs looking for a compact digital camera that furthers their creative photography.   More than Just a High Pixel Count The Highest-Quality Images Ever from a Compact Digital Camera At the heart of the DMC-LX3, is its 1/1.63-inch CCD.  Making the intentional choice to limit the number of mega pixels to 10.1 on its CCD, Panasonic was able to give more space for each pixel and also redesigned the peripheral circuits and other components to further minimize noise generation.  As a result, sensitivity is almost 40 percent higher and saturation is increased by 35 percent, when compared to Panasonics 10 MP digital cameras*, giving the DMC-LX3 outstanding image quality and a wide dynamic range, and meeting the demand for a camera that works optimally in low-light environments.  The CCD is also capable of reproducing images in three aspect ratios 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9.  The new Multi Aspect mode allows the camera to take an image in all three aspect ratios simultaneously, allowing you to choose the version that best suits their needs.   Large Aperture F2.0, 24mm Wide-Angle Another major upgrade to the DMC-LX3 is the F2.0 24mm ultra wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens.  The F2.0 is about twice as bright as a F2.8 lens and can shoot at higher shutter speeds to capture clear, blur-free images in dimly lit environments.  In addition, the 24mm lens captures approximately a 213% larger viewing angle than a normal 35mm
